Hi all
Im installing win 11 23h2 x64.

I hate the visual pastel color and the dark theme. Im looking to set a skin theme for win 11 but colorized is it has to be like win 7 or 10 that still you could apply green or blue theme for windows taskbar, start menu and tittlebar (beside folders colorization with iconpackager). I tried windowsblinds but im still not convinced at all, there are issues to skinning some apps. So I discarded instead windowwsblinds im going to patch the filesystem to apply a full skin theme.

Its hard to find any blue theme for win 11, anyone can suggest some blue skin theme suitable for win 11 x64, please? thanks!

Why not create your own theme in a Windows 7 vm or old 7 machine, save it, and use the theme in 11. Know this though, no matter how detailed your theme is, in some parts of 11 colors won't change such as file explorer and control panel. Below is one I created.

Then, use one of the hundreds of great themes in Edge, Chrome, or Firefox that are available. Last year Edge Canary allowed you to create your own theme, but I do not know if it ever reached Edge release as I haven't tried it.. Microsoft Edge has got custom theme support

hi thanks for the idea, in that picture is exactly what i got, only task bar is colorized but from explorer windows it remains as light theme. I dont like this. if I use custom option i dont get this workin in another color, am i missing something?

I like light mode but found that "show accent color on start and taskbar' was grayed out. It is because Windows has to be in dark mode for it to be available. Here's what I did to use these options in light mode.

go to settings-personalization- colors.

under 'choose your mode', change it to dark mode (this is temporary and it un-grays the option.)

Change 'show accent color on start and taskbar' to ON and change 'show accent color on title bar and windows borders' to ON.

scroll back up to 'choose your mode' change it to CUSTOM

set 'choose your windows default mode' to DARK

set 'choose your app mode' to LIGHT
