Setting up a desktop shortcut for Sleep Mode Win 11 (latest) Dell XPS 8950

Using the suggested shortcut target: (rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0) puts the computer into a shutdown mode (not sleep). Is there a different target I should be using to go into the same sleep mode as the one from the start/shutdown menu?

Try, C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState as your target.

Same thing...goes into a shutdown mode

Well, you might want to check out: NirCmd - Windows command line tool
It's a little dated, does include a "suspend command", which you may find helpful. Good luck.

Suspend/Standby=sleep in apps like Macrium Reflect., etc. So, I think Suspend/Sleep in Nir is sleep. I hope it works for you. I'm sorry I can't offer to help you further, but I'm running Win 11 on an HP. If you can't resolve your 'Sleep" issue, I suggest you contact Dell support about your problem.
