The first thing we need to do is find all our Settings.
They are located under your account name (top right) > Preferences

After choosing Preferences, you will be able to choose Signature on the left side navigation bar.

Now, for the Signature itself, we need to enable BB code. We do this as follows...
The brackets in the bottom RED circle, will toggle BB code, ON and OFF.
For now, turn it ON.

Image2.png

Now, we can use BB code to set up our signature, etc.
Upload the 700 x 100 (or smaller), pic [.jpg or .png], you want for your signature to an image hosting site like: Imgur
Then use the share link with the "IMG" tags around it.

It looks like ElevenForum will resize it to 525 x 75. That is the same ratio as 700 x 100.

Then we just set up our signatures, like so...
The bottom line is optional, ofc.

Image1.png

When finished, don't forget to toggle the BB code, back OFF.

Most of us use our own software. Just make it a .jpg or a .png file 700w x 100h pixels.
It looks like ElevenForum will resize the image to 525 x 75, which is the same ratio as 700 x 100.

Some ask our local expert @kado897 ...assuming he has the time. He's good. ^^

I use Postimages as a host and have used it for years. I knock up an image with Paint 3D (I know it shows a noob) within the permitted size then upload to Postimages. Use the direct link to paste an image then centre it and save. I suppose we all do it differently :)

The image doesn't necessarily have to be hosted on a 3rd-party site like Imgur. You can use an image that you have posted here, or one on a sister-site like TF. Here I link to my TF sigpic, while on WQ I use an animated gif I first used in a WQ post.

TF sigpics are not accessible to guests, so that would only work if you are logged in to TF at the time of entering it on 11F (it only needs access once as we proxy it after that).

So, not the best method.

Most forum software uses BBCode (Bulletin Board Code). I just use Windows Notepad for the text, and an existing online image, if I want one. One can link to any image (of a reasonable size) anywhere on the World Wide Web. Not all forums use all of the BBCode tags. Those that are available should be on the post form edit window. See BBCode - Wikipedia, BB codes

They're in the Help section at the bottom of the forum. Help
Specifically... BB codes

View attachment 122

Now, we can use BB code to set up our signature, etc.
Upload the 700 x 100 pic [.jpg or .png], you want for your signature to an image hosting site like: Imgur
Then use the share link with the "IMG" tags around it.

It looks like ElevenForum will resize it to 525 x 75. That is the same ratio as 700 x 100.

Then we just set up our signatures, like so...
The bottom line is optional, ofc.

View attachment 124

When finished, don't forget to toggle the BB code, back OFF.
Thanks, Ghot. I'm going to try for that.
