I have my main laptop running Windows 11 (an upgrade from Windows 10) and the machine is beginning to slow down to a point where it is becoming very annoying. I have tried trimming the start up apps to a minimum. run the DISM Restore Health command and have swept it for any malware (none found) . Now when I look in that task manager I find that Edge is taking up a lot of resources - see pic what I would like to know is would that many references to Edge have any effect on the speed of the machine (an Asus Vivobook Pro with an i7 10th gen CPU) plus any other ideas on why the machine is so slow to boot and move between tabs etc> Any help really appreciated.
