I had a issue with Ant Videodownloader with was solved...https://www.elevenforum.com/t/ant-video-downloader-extension-no-longer-available.15238/
Now on a second pc Ant videodownloader is installed in Extension control panel but no icon appears in toolbar and installed Ant videodownloader on
third pc with the fresh install of firefox ...installed in Extension control panel...but no icon in toolbar and checked customise toolbar no icon there either.
So as test installed Ublock Origin..installed ok...no icon in toolbar or customer toolbar settings...installed Browsec VPN installed and icon appears in toolbar.
Huh !

Classic case of 'Haven't got a clue what's going on' problem..

I'll have to put on Pc detective hat on and do some investigation.

Have you tried clicking the "Extensions" toolbar icon. If "Ant Video Downloader"is showing there, then right-click it, and select "Pin to Toolbar".

pn: Hopefully, you have already set it to Enabled in the Extensions Control Panel.

As above. If the extension icon isn't showing on the toolbar then right click empty space on toolbar and select 'customise toolbar'. Drag the extension icon to the toolbar then select 'done' bottom right. Left click the extension icon (as above) then right click the extension you want on the toolbar.

Thanks for replies,

Done everything .

Fabler 2 image shows Pin to Toolbar option when i do the same i do not see Pin to Toolbar option all i see is manage extension.remove extension and report extension.

I have re-installed Mozilla Firefox few times and re-installed Ant Videodownloader and Ublock Origin.
Install ok and appear in Extension contol panel list and all enabled but nothing shows up in customise toolbar apart from the usual
one ie Print,Home etc.

Totally beyond me.

I cannot use the above extensions without Pinning to toolbar and did a Google search some users of Mozilla Firefox see Pin to Toolbar option and some don't.

It appears to me a Mozilla Firefox bug and i have latest version.

One thing you could try is to install Malwarebyte's Browser Guard extension. That has the option to pin to toolbar during install. Pin that and see if it kick-starts the option. Worth a try.

I have misread something somewhere....Oh Fabler2 reply..sorry.

If you add an extension....click the ok on permissions box...yes/no for private browsing....the extension appears in Extensions Control Panel
and then click the puzzle icon shown top right on toolbar...click gear icon...and choose Pin to Toolbar and extension add on you installed appears in toolbar.

If you add another extension and follow same steps as above and this second add on extension icon appears in toolbar.
Clicking the puzzle icon shows the latest add on extension you installed and if you add third extension clicking puzzle icon
will show this one and if you add a fourth one and clicking puzzle icon will show this one and so on.

My issue has been solved.
