Hi all,

I have recently acquired a new desktop PC and I am having a strange issue where some programs do not display correctly. (see screenshots) These are just 2 of the many programs that do not display correctly.

I am running Windows 11 version 23H2.

I have tried for over a week now to solve this issue and I am stumped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I believe we'll need more information. Where are you opening these programs from exactly? Start menu?
I am assuming they are installed programs rather than standalone apps. Correct?
What have you done to alter your account since the day you set your account up out of the box?
Just guessing here, but I think you issue is related to Onedrive.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Yes, they are programs I have installed that are having this issue. I am opening the programs from the desktop and the start menu.

I dont believe I have done anything to alter my account since I got this PC. Simply signed into windows with my existing login.

The programs I am having issues with so far are:
  • Gigabyte control centre
  • FanControl
  • CPUZ
I have used DDU to uninstall the Nvidia display driver and have installed the latest one. The issue disappears when I remove the driver but start appearing again when I reinstall it.

Hi there, welcome 🙏

Can you take a look in the following location for any drivers that look like they should be installed?

Settings>Windows Update>Advanced Options>Optional Updates.

Also, is there a chipset driver available or is the chipset driver installed for your board?

Not sure if the above would help or if it is related.

Are there any alerts in device manager?

You’ve already done what I would of suggested with your GPU drivers. This thread may of been better in the DIY Builds and Motherboards, but it shouldn’t matter.

Also, again not sure if it matters?

Are you acustomed to updating your BIOS?

There was a new BIOS update for your board 3 days ago: F11d

And a new Gigabyte Control Centre in July.

EDIT: Not sure there is a chipset driver that you need on that page.

Hi all,

I have now update the BIOS and I have re-installed Windows 11 and I am still having the same issues.

I am now on the latest BIOS and the latest Nvidia driver. Windows 11 is fully up to date also.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
