awesome!

I hope they make a customizable taskbar (app) that has classic functions (drag-drop) and features.

and a customizable right-click menu.

I got the e-mail from them yesterday. I'm going to stick with and learn the native Win 11 start menu. I do PC support and any of my clients that get Win 11 will probably use the native setup.

It works well.
But they need to remove the delay effect or at least make it configurable.

I was amazed that Stardock wouldn't provide beta access without payment. I started using Start 8 when Windows 8 came out because I had to get productive immediately to work on a book. But since then, Start10 has become less important (though my wife still likes it a LOT). Start 11 (which I have on one Win11 machine to play with) is even less so. Like other posters, I no longer mind working within the limitations of the native Start Menu. I guess 9 years on, I finally know my way around! LOL.
--Ed--

PS: If you're interested check out my August 11 blog post Start11 Beta Arrives With Certain Complications about my experiences in "moving up" from Windows 10 to 11 on that single test machine. Stardock hasn't yet made it an easy upgrade.

I've been using Start10 for years. I think the default Start Menu for W11 is okay. Still, I upgraded to Start11 and I can't imagine using W11 without it. Works fine for me.

I don't mind the native start menu. Clicking on "All Apps" to see all the apps I have installed is simple enough. I'm not going to spend $5.00 on software I may never use. I can save that money for a new video card! Can someone tell me what's so impressive with Start 11?

Thanks!
