I want to start the hotspot as soon as pc reboots, or if not, as soon as I login. There is a usb wifi adapter in my pc.

It's like the people giving this advice didn't actually test if it works?

netsh wlan start hostednetwork //start "hotspot name here"

I saved this command to .bat file, put it in my startup folder, tried task scheduler too

none of it works.

How can I actually start the hotspot ?

C:\Users\k>netsh wlan start hostednetwork //start w111
The hosted network couldn't be started.
The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.

C:\Users\k>netsh wlan show settings

Wireless LAN settings

Only use GP profiles on GP-configured networks: No

Hosted network mode allowed in WLAN service: Yes

Allow shared user credentials for network authentication: Yes

Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wi-Fi 2"
MAC randomization not available on interface Wi-Fi 2

It sure would be nice if someone actually knew how to fix this problem as my virtual adapter never was disabled to begin with, so that's not a solution.
