Solved StartAllBack, Win 11 updated now narrow task bar

I got updates in the last few days for Win 11 and StartAllBack. Now I have a very narrow task bar. There is not room to display the date among other annoying effects of this narrow bar. I don't see any way in the settings of SAB or Win task bar properties to fix this. Ideas?

right click on the start button and open "Properties". that is SAB's settings window. open the taskbar tab and post a screenshot so we can see what settings it may be.

set plumpness to Aura and see if it fixes the issue. just to test...

I see no difference with aura. I got the resize cursor when I mouse over the task bar but it does not drag.

I see the OS is 23H2 build 22635.4655 - This is an Insider Beta OS so it may be related to a bug in the OS.

The OS on my PCs are both 24H2 build 26100.2605 with SAB v3.9 installed and the taskbar is the normal height.

Maybe try the same SAB Taskbar settings as I use. See photos.

Thanks, Wiganken. When I put the bar on the bottom I can adjust the height. When I put it on the right I can adjust the width. When I move it to the left it keeps the width it had on the right but I can no longer change the width. Strange, but problem solved.

I don't understand why someone puts the taskbar on the e bottom or top when the screen is so much wider than tall.

For me, the Full date doesn't work on the side...

you have to unlock it and make it slightly bigger (the taskbar height). i just reproduced your clock font (roughly based on your image) so mine was about the same with cutoff and it took just a tad resizing to show it all and then the date shows right below it too.

She has taken to fixing a lot , if not most of the bugs in StartAllBack because the software's developer Tihly has been VERY slow in responding to fixing bugs for the software, if he fixes them at all, you can see the fixed issue with the taskbar size here:

Because taskbar buttons for open apps are wide. Yes I have the text in there so I don't have to remember every single icon!

Cool, thanks. Didn't expect it to be outside startallback's settings. Windows nowadays has settings scattered wider than a [insert good analogy]
