A minor irritant: the "a new version has been detected, do you want to update to a new version?" nag screen when opening Mini Tool PW, version 9.1. Is there a way to turn that off? One post on Reddit says remove the updatechecker.exe file, but I don't have that file onboard. I do have "show all files" selected in Windows Explorer. I don't find the update entry in Task Scheduler nor Autoruns. Another solution proposed is to block ports 79-81 and IP 173.254.33.48 on my router. I can try that but I don't know what other programs I use need that me require these ports. Maybe I'm just resigned to put up with it, which I can do. Perhaps the update check is just embedded inside the executable.
Thanks!
