Solved strange problem with monitor wake up by moving mouse SAMSUNG 32-Inch Odyssey G50D Series

I have found that when waking monitor with mouse wakes but, the monitor looks dim? When I reboot it's back to normal again. I updated monitor to latest driver earlier so, I rolled back but did no good. After rebooting it's fine I can't think of any settings it might be anyone else? Thanks! :-)

A response from Google:

A dim monitor after waking from sleep could be due to adaptive brightness settings or a power setting, To fix it, you can disable adaptive brightness in Windows settings, adjust power plan settings.


1. Check Adaptive Brightness:
  • Go to Settings > System > Display.
  • Uncheck "Change brightness automatically when lighting changes".
  • Use the brightness slider to manually adjust the display brightness.
2. Adjust Power Plan Settings:
  • Go to Settings > System > Power & Sleep.
  • Click on "Additional power settings".
  • Click "Change advanced power settings".
  • Expand "Display" and find "Enable adaptive brightness" or "Adaptive brightness" and turn off both options.

Whenever it wakes from mouse movement, it's like the brightness has been turned down some.

I couldn't seem to find that adaptive brightness. my system must not have that option.

Being integrated, have you checked the settings for the graphics in the BIOS?
I believe the integrated graphics for your board is controlled by your AMD Ryzen processor

Just note; all my suggestions are shots in the dark.

If the option isn’t available, I don’t believe the bat file will magically make it appear.
But I doubt it will cause problems if you run the bat file, regardless.

Please don’t hold me to that.

I don’t have your Motherboard or CPU. My ROG is 11 years old.

This may be the rout:
Navigate to the "Advanced" section, then "NB Configuration", and locate the "Integrated Graphics" or "IGFX" setting. You can then change the setting to "Enabled", "Disabled", or "Auto"

But "Enabled", "Disabled", or "Auto" may be the only options, in which case it was a bad suggestion on my part.
