I am having issues with the hide the taskbar settings. When set to hide , it will not pop back up with like explorer open or Edge browsing web or outlook even open, then all of a sudden it will pop up. I was thinking it is when you open a program and till icon for opening program show’s in taskbar it will then pop up. Any one else see this issue. Loving Windows 11!

I'm running DEV Channel 22H2 Build 22572.100, which is way ahead of your version, and just checked the "Disappearing Taskbar" and it disappears when it should and reappears when it should. I checked everything you said and some more, and it's working as it should.

I found this, and haven't a clue whether it might help or not, but for what it's worth, here's something to think about:

"Important: To ensure that some updates in this release work as expected, the Windows Web Experience Pack from the Microsoft Store must be current. If the App Settings > App updates setting is enabled, the latest version of the pack will be automatically installed. You can also manually install the current Windows Web Experience Pack. For information about updating the Windows Web Experience Pack and enabling automatic updates from the Microsoft Store, see How to update the Windows Web Experience Pack in the Microsoft Store."

I thought it only popped up if you moved your cursor down to the bottom edge of the display.

Hiding the Taskbar been reported as being an unreliable thing since Windows 7 anyway.

Yes, mine only pops up if I move the cursor onto where I know it is. :)

I don't care for hiding the taskbar, so, I have hardly ever done it. I will test it to see if it works, and it does for me. In fact, I'm going to unhide it right now. It's just rattles my brain when I accidentally move my cursor over it.
