The taskbar on my daughters Yoga 7i computer does not display properly. In the screenshot you can see the taskbar has a blue section above the black section. The taskbar is set to be the blue color not the black. In addition the taskbar should only be the size of the black part of the taskbar. Also, I tried to change the size of the taskbar through the Setting app but it is stuck on it's current size.

Computer: Yoga 7i
Win ver: Windows 11 22H2
OS Build 19045.2788

That could be the Lenovo wallpaper not fitting properly.

Been using the same wallpaper for about six months with no problems. I switched the wallpaper anyway to no avail. Still have the problem. I also checked the screen resolution and it's fine.

It could still be the wallpaper. Check the chosen 'fit' setting for the wallpaper, Fill is the best choice if the wallpaper isn't the same aspect ratio as your screen.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

unsupported machine: Legacy bios, MBR, TPM 1.2, upgraded from W10 to W11 using W10/W11 hybrid install media workaround. In-place upgrade to 22H2 using ISO and a workaround. Feature Update to 23H2 by manually installing the Enablement Package.

JFWIW:
When 'Fill' did not actually make a picture fill my screen, I used "Stretch" and that did the trick.

OK, Switched to the "fit" setting and that solved the problem. It had been on "fill". Thanks "Bree" and "TechnoMage2021" for responding.
