Hello,

I ve been looking online and cant find anything related to that.

I want to have the icons in the taskbar ungrouped. If I have lets say 3-4 excels open I want to have them in separated buttons in the taskbar as well, and I want the taskbar to fill :D

like this:

As of right now, the only way to do it is to install a 3rd party software and make the taskbar look like Windows 10. . . Otherwise, there's no way

I am having a lot of fun with Rainmeter.
You can fully customize your own taskbar by just modifying the configuration file in text format. You can also create your own icon in PNG format if you have basic knowledge in Photoshop.
I am doing this on my second monitor where I don't have a taskbar displayed.

No need. I am actually learning new stuffs because of the new non-functioning Taskbar. It is not a big deal to me. Just trying to enjoy this.

does this support expanded icons, like with full name as my first pic? because its not the icons I mind, its not knowing what the windows of the same app I have open are instantly.

I ungrouped my Taskbar icons as part of a set of steps I took to achieve a decent Taskbar. See My Taskbar setup [post #6] - ElevenForum

Best of luck,

Thank you for your input Denis,

Just to clarify this requires 3d party software in order to turn the current taskbar into a Win10 taskbar correct? its not just a regedit tweak.

Right, so I did exact the same things as you described on the other post by using the WinAero Tweaker in two clicks, then I had to install OpenShell in order to restore the functionality to my start-menu. But at least I got my window-icons the way I want them now. I m going to leave this thread here until we find a native solution to this issue I m guessing because I really don't like I have to use 3d party software.

Also I want to mention that the new snipping tool seems to have broke with this process, so if you care about it you ll have to either dont do it or find a different program like snaggit, greenshot or Monosnap (preferred) .
