As the deadline for the end of W10 approaches, and the news that Microsoft will still provide security updates for a further 3 years.
(At a price ) !!

Are there any tech companies working on a hardware/software work around ?

How many billions of Computers are going to end up in landfill because of this latest TPM issue.
I run a PC with a Asus Z97 Motherboard, 32GB of DDR3 ram, i74790K CPU, and yes, it has TPM 2 ability, and has the little TPM 2 plugin installed.
But ASUS have not updated the BIOS for this board ?

I find it almost beyond belief that none of the Tech companies are incapable of manufacturing a board for a PC with a spare PCI slot, that could insert a dedicated security hardware & software device, that would enable full functionality of W11.
Full functionality being the operative phrase, not just a workaround to get W11 installed.

No doubt the Tech companies are looking forward to the bonanza of sales in the future, as people dump their equipment in the billions, all into landfill.

Supposing just ONE tech company was to break ranks and create such a board, can you imagine the demand for, and profits involved, for such a device ?

To me, it is just absurd that such a device that could be used in a spare PCI slot, could not be created.
