Hello!
I had an experience today I wanted to share, so others will know what to do. I installed Windows 11 Pro Greek for a customer and after I had all drivers installed and was about to start installing the applications, he called and said he wanted US English instead. To save me time I decided to just change the display language to US English rather than format and start over. So I when to Settings, Time & Language, Language and Region, clicked the three dots at the US English to reveal more settings and selected the Language Options. From there downloaded the US English language pack and set the default display language to US English. I restarted the computer and the language was changed, as expected.
But, then I installed a couple of updates from Windows Update and restarted again to find out that most of the text was in English but the rest had reverted to Greek! I could not present this to my customer, mixed language, he would not approve!
The solution: Install some more updates and restart. Everything is only in English. I also set the first language in Microsoft Edge to English (so all search results are in English first). I don't think this affected anything, but I report it just in case.
