I accidentally logged out from Ten Forum. My attempt to re-log in was unsuccessful due to wrong password. It's been a long while since I entered password to log in as user and password have been permanently entered. All I needed to log in was click login button. So, I went to forgot password help, was given a new password but I could not enter it in password button as it is occupied by old password. I was automatedly advised to register. But registration form did not accept my username because it is already being used. Anybody has any idea how to reenter? (The reason I am doing this in W11 Forum is I am hoping TEN Forum members will recognize me here and help. But is there anyone here now who has some idea how to go about this?

Oh no. I did not know it was you. Yes, I was able to get in. Then I edited and changed password to the old 4-digit #. I thought that was it, but now I again cannot get in. "Wrong password". So, what should I do? Can I use the one you sent yesterday? Or I need another new password? What happened after I edited back to the old 4-digit password. Did I go back to log in too soon?

I noticed that my username was changed to my email address (I did not do it) instead of just coolnewyorker...., like the same username I have here, in W11forum. And when I changed it just coolnewyorker, it was not accepted. It kept going back to my mail address as username.

Hmm... It's been a while since I registered to TF. On effort to log in , I see the usual 3-boxes (username-password-log in). Username has my email address instead of coolnewyorker. And the password is 4-digit, which is my old password that I edited back to. When I click log in, I get notice that either username or password is incorrect. So, I deleted the boxes and entered coolnewyorker and the new password. When I click log in, I get the same message- wrong username or password.

Earlier today, I used the new password you sent yesterday, and it worked. But I immediately edited the password back to the old 4-digit and left the TF site. When I tried to log in minutes later, I received the same warning: wrong username or password, and I cannot rectify it. Do I need a new password from TF?

If you edited the password on the TF site, then surely you should now be entering coolnewyorker and the old 4 digit password?

Wait...I just logged in, and I got in. OK, I do not know at the moment what surname and password were used, but I am going to let it be for a while. No immediate editing. Maybe later.
