I'm currently using Thunderbird Portable 64-bit 128.11.0 ESR Nebula. I saw that Mozilla is recommending folks switch from Extended Support Release to Release. Can anyone recommend a non-portableapps.com version of Thunderbird portable for download? Thanks for any help.

The PortableApps version is apparently official. Why are you averse to using it?

Portableapps.com creates extra folders that most portable software does not. I also believe it puts files/folders on the C drive, which doesn't match my definition of 'portable'. Before posting my note, I did download and extract their version, but when I opened it, it did not recognize my email accounts/folders as expected.
