OS
Windows 11 Pro Build by Timlab55
I would like to run Windows 11 Pro and Debian OS. Debian will be used to run a webserver 24/7. So can I install Windows 11 Pro and then make a VM for Debian, set it up and then run Debian 24/7. The only reason why I want Windows 11 Pro running is to watch all the machine, while Debian runs the webserver. If this can be done, is there a tutorial on how to set this up and if so where can I go to watch it.
Thanks

Sure, you can easily set up a virtual machine of Debian using Hyper-V.

See tutorials section on sister site www.tenforums.com how to use Hyper-V

Although tutorials are more geared to installing Windows, the same approach is used, i.e., you create a VM, create storage, then install iso.

You might want to consider installing ubuntu or kali as these can be used in enhanced mode, making sharing of windows folders easier along with cut and paste.

Our resident Linux guru @jimbo45 may be able to advise better than I, particularly regarding server.
