Tracking Registry Changes

I may be one of the few people who still use Windows Home Server 2011. While it can only do full bare-metal restores on BIOS machines, still having all files reliably backed up with no intervention is valuable to me. And for that matter I do have several older BIOS machines, while all the newer ones are UEFI of course. WHS has saved my bacon a number of times over the years.

But there's an issue: for years and years, Windows 10 and Windows 11, every time there's a Windows update, it clobbers the WHS "Connector" application that is the conduit between each of my computers and the WHS server. It is necessary to remove the Connector (I use the Geek uninstaller), reboot, and reinstall the Connector.

With multiple machines, and the frequency of Insider updates, this is a real nuisance.

So my question: is there any feasible method of determining just what it is that each Windows install does to the registry that causes this issue? If I could just construct a simple reg file to undo the "damage", it would be a lot easier than the awkward process I go through on the multiple machines.
