MS must have made a change in the settings in Build 22563. How do I turn this off?

The three boxes are unchecked. Even though I don't feel like messing around looking for a setting to turn this off I guess I'll have too.

I wonder if that could be a notification from Edge? The Ad didn't show until I started Edge. I'll turn off notifications from Edge and see if that helps.

That's very likely. I have never seen that advertisement, but then, I also never use Edge.

I occasionally use the Edge Canary Builds for testing. Firefox is my main browser.

All that does is to stop notifications bottom right. Just noticed that in Edge's settings list is a new 'Alerts and Tips' section that looks as if it can't be disabled

If MS decides to use Edge to deliver unwanted ads, I'll stop testing the Canary builds and go back to using Firefox only.

That's fair enough. I've yet to see that ad. though but no doubt it will pop up (or something similar) sooner or later :(

I'm only guessing it was from Edge. I have no idea of why it popped up.

I think I found where the ad came from. I went to The MS Store to check for updates. When I check for updates, I found that One Calendar and Your Phone had updates. When the updates were done, I noticed on the top that where it says Included with device there was a number 1 showing. When I clicked on it, I found this.

I wonder if there's a way to turn off the ads.
I believe education edition gets rid of some ads etc. I love the fact less crap comes with it

Notifications from the MS Store was already turned off. Unless there is another setting, I guess we can expect occasional popup ads from MS.

I find, often, an effective way to get rid of ads is to click Accept and then quit!
I've a reasonable suspicion they just want to get their hook in your gills, after that, they may care less what you do!

Reading the small print, MS wants permission to sell my info to third parties. I get way too much junk mail now.
