This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off showing notifications on the lock screen for your account in Windows 11.

The lock screen is the stand by screen you see at startup, when you lock the computer, or when you sign out and are idle at least one minute.

The lock screen displays a background image, time, date, detailed status of selected app, and notifications by default.

When you dismiss the lock screen, you will see the sign-in screen.

It is required to have notifications turned on to be able to turn on or off show notifications on the lock screen.

I have a similar problem that both solutions did not fix.

On my Windows 11 Pro sign in screen I am now getting a notification of an amazon.com delivery.
This happens when getting my pc out of sleep mode, but not if I shut the computer off and then start it back up.

Can you tell me how to turn this off?

I should point out that I turned off every single setting in notifications manually, and have now used the registry edit, and I'm still getting the amazon alert.
