Twitter Win App opens links in Edge. How to change?

Hi there,

I'm on Win11 V21H2.

I'm using the official Twitter App (the most updated version).

When I open a link on the app, it opens it automatically in Edge.

My default browser is Chrome, and I'd like to change it so those links will open in Chrome.

What's the way to go about that?

Thanks in advance,

HS.

Hey.

Just wanted to make sure - did I post this on the wrong board?

I wouldn't have a clue, but...,
... if it were me, I'd just log into Twitter within Chrome and forget about the app! 🤷‍♂️

From what little I've been able to find on the issue. It appears the developer of the app designed it to only open with Edge.

Scant information on the subject, but has apparently been an issue since the introduction of Edge Chromium.

I believe the advice given in the post above by @Edwin, to open it from within Chrome, and forget about the app, may be your best option.

I wish you luck. (y)

I just figured, why have 2 platforms hogging your horsepower if you've got Chrome open anyway!

If you like the App experience, let Chrome create a PWA app...
