Hi there
updating to build 22543 from 22538 (not new install but via WU) the system checks for relevant hardware before allowing update to proceed.
If on a VM you get this error :
simply install the TPM emulator if on HOST LINUX with KVM (install package tpmsec) and add the hardware to your VM config. No need to start or config the TPM on the host. If using Windows as HOST as has been observed by other posters a TPM emulator is built in when using HYPER-V
so after installing TPM emulator and running the update again it works perfectly.
Now reboot the GUEST and then run the update again and - after update : via WU
VM config for TPM :
Cheers
