Solved US keyboard with UK language

Hi anyone know the quickest way to set up a US keyboard with the UK language so the shift+2 key is @ and not " and the shift +'' key is " not @ and not the other way around. thanks there are a few ways like selecting region which doesn't work etc.

Settings > Time & Language > Language & region. Select Options for your installed language and add another keyboard.




I have UK English as my language and it has both US and UK keyboards installed. I can switch between them with WinKey+Space.

Thanks, Mine is the physical language, I have tried several settings but still find the shifted 2 gives " and visa versa. I have it set right now but cannot remember how I done it for future reference. and I do not want the language bar as I never swap languages but seem to need them both installed to get keyboard right.

You cannot change the layout of the keyboard when you only have one installed for your language. What you can do is install a second keyboard with the layout you want to use, then you are allowed to remove the original unwanted keyboard layout. You'll only see the language bar for the brief time you have two keyboards installed.

@Bree Thanks you, I have both languages installed at the moment and managed to get rid of the language bar thanks for your help
