USB 3.0 & 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller Drivers

I have noticed something in my Device Manager since upgrading to Windows 11.

My Intel USB 3.0 & 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller drivers have been replaced with Microsoft ones.
As well as that, my NVIDIA USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller is also now Microsoft.

I can't seem to find Intel drivers for the two Intel controllers, and I can't find much information at all about the NVIDIA controller.
Any information about these USB eXtensible Host Controllers is welcome. :)

As of Windows 8, Windows has native support for USB 3 so these driver updates are now offered via Windows Update instead of via Intel Download Center. The actual code in the drivers is still written (and maintained) by Intel, only the delivery mechanism used to bring them to your PC is Windows Update, it happens for Intel xHCI Compliant Host Controller also. On my laptop with an 11th Gen Intel CPU, in device manager the AHCI SATA controller is named "Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial-ATA Controller" and the driver date is 21 June, 2006, whereas the driver version number says 10.0.22000.258 so, only company I know has the capacity to keep confusing peeps in this manner is... Mickeysoft. :p

On Windows 11 it came with the original leaked version 22000.1
So it's been on Win 11, the whole time.

I find the drivers at the German website Win-Raid.com to be generally reliable and usable. If you can't find good versions elsewhere, check there next.

I thought the Intel drivers would have been easy to find, but unfortunately I haven't had any luck finding them yet.

According to Intel's support site the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller drivers were discontinued as from January 1st 2019.
The drivers are supplied as part of Windows setup now, the same with the Nvidia ones for cards with the USB C port (although the controller may be on the card still without the physical connection, causing the Nvidia driver to be installed).
