USB Printer not sharing with other computers since upgrading to Win 11 24H2

Hi all,
My USB printer was working fine when sharing with computers on the network running Windows 11 22H2 but since I upgraded to Windows 11 24H2 (Insider Preview) I cannot find or print to the USB printer connected to the Host computer. I can print from the host computer, no problem, but not from other computers on the network. This just happened since upgrading to 24H2.
Has anyone got any ideas ?

What is the Make and Model # of the printer?
Go to the manufacturers download site and download and run the latest driver.
Be sure the Printer is still Shared.
On the printer, go to Settings/Network. Print a sheet of the network configuration with the IP Address. Or the computer name or IP address of the computer that the printer is plugged into the USB Port
On the remote computers, go to Search and type Printers and press Enter.
In Devices and Printers. Is your printer listed here? If not, go to the toolbar and click Add Printer, it will search for the printer, if it can't find it, then type the IP Address of the printer to add it.

Thanks for your reply.
The Printer is a Brother HL-2140 series. USB connected to host computer. It has the latest drivers.
Here is the list of the IP addresses from Settings/Network :

Which one would you say is the IP address for the printer ?
I tried 192.168.1.149 and 192.168.1.254 None of them worked.
Everything worked fine when I was using Win11 22H2, its Win 11 22H4 that has an issue.

Search Settings for Advanced Sharing Settings and try turning off the requirement for a password.

- http://computername/printername/.printer ( sorry I couldn't get this to come us as anything but a link in the post which of course will not be a live link if you click on it but to access this way you would type it into the box like this)
When prompted to install the printer driver, select Next to complete the installation.

For more info about the computer or device name, see the Find your PC name section in this topic. By default, you need the user name and password of the primary PC to access the printer.

This doesn't look right, could it be Version 24H2?

One thing I've seen over several years that printers that specify USB 2 do have issues when plugged into USB 3 ports.

I avoid the connection issues by using printers with an Ethernet port and plugged into my Wireless Router. I can print and usually scan from any computer whether connected to the Router via Ethernet cable or Wireless/Wi-Fi 2G or 5G. I have Win7, Win10, Win11 and Linux Mint printing to an HP OfficeJet 9015 and HP LaserJet M148dw.

Another suggestion is to check your firewall settings. Go to Windows Security -> Firewall and Network Protection and click on "allow an app through the firewall". Scroll down to File and Printer sharing, as below, and make sure it's ticked.

Well I tried everything that was suggested by you kind people and got no result.
It could be the age of the printer but it works fine with the host computer running Win 11 24H2.
It just will not network with other computers. Maybe a Windows update might fix the problem in the future.
Anyway, thank you all for your input.

One other thing I haven't needed is if the Router is new enough it may have a USB port that the printer could be connected to.

If the printer has wireless capability, using wireless should work for everyone.

I enabled both "File And Printer Sharing" and "File And Printer Sharing (Restrictive)" for Private networks.
At the time, I also tested it with "File And Printer Sharing" off and only "File And Printer Sharing (Restrictive)" on, and it still worked.
