Has anyone ever successfully downloaded ISO/ESD/WIM or whatever is necessary via UUP? I have tried several times and it never worked. Slow like a rock and error message after error message. Even after leaving it run overnight it never got things done in my experience.

Do you download the CMD file, then run it as administrator?
Also. I always put it in a single word sub-folder with a short path. For example: D:\UUP

I successfully made the latest update from the uupdump.net site. I worked. And, I update my Lenovo laptop with the ISO that I made. Upgraded to keep files only. No issues.

Same thing. It starts out fine but after a while starts spitting out bazillion errors, and usually I get to see the same wall over errors in the morning if I leave it overnight. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

And is there any way to tell how far the process has progressed while it is running? I mean how am I supposed to know if it's stuck at 90% or 10%?

They're all network errors. Maybe there is a problem.
I used it about 20 hours ago and it worked.

It's gotta be network problem, but on my end or on the other side? I tried running those scripts in multiple systems including fresh built VMs, and the results have been all the same. I do not have network problem in any other context.

The download comes in a zip file. You extract the zip file that creates a folder. This folder is where my ISO was located after it finished.

Thx, that is what I thought. My folder size is below 20MB even after the first few minutes of "completed" downloads (of a few files), so there is definitely something wrong.

My folder was up towards 9.55 GB in size, for Windows 11 Pro only. I didn't get other Windows 11 version bundled together.

Now it took probably 20 mins, maybe 30 mins to complete the process. I didn't time it, but it did take a while to download the packages and convert into the ISO file. Then I used Rufus to make the bootable USB thumb drive.

Where are you running it from?
I personally wouldn't use a Windows system folder.

Do you have a backup drive?
Create a folder (e.g. UUP) on the root of that drive and run it as Administrator.

For me, I downloaded the zip into my Downloads folder, which is on a separate drive. I extracted to same Download folder and ran the cmd file as Administrator. There were no errors. I would agree that if you made any attempt to save and run the cmd file in a System fold, you're have file errors.
