Solved Very Slow Dell laptop with Windows 10 Cured!

Well, I bought a new Dell laptop with Windows 11 and have used my older Windows 10 Dell less and less lately because it got so slow I lost patience with it. Today I needed to get in it and store some data, so it was so slow I just shut it down and then later went to Dell support and grabbed the lates BIOS flash to see if my BIOS had been glitched. Sure enough, after reinstalling it the laptop booted up like brand new and ran as fast as I remember it before I must have installed it wrong back a few months ago and just didn't notice the change right away. Anyway, this is just trivial stuff, but even us older-than-dirt computer guys make mistakes now and then. This would apply to a new laptop with Win-11 as well, of course.

If it's defined as Earth earth, it's a lot newer than the Big Bang. Maybe 4.5 gigayears. (Or about 6000 years, according to Bishop Ussher.)

I guess dirt was around before Earth.

On the extremely flimsy assumption man is the only sentient being ever to walk this planet, the term dirt was probably coined around 2 million years ago by Homo Erectus (how pc does that sound nowadays lol).

You're assuming that all normal members of genus Homo were capable of speech.

If we stick with H. Sapiens (or even H. Neanderthalensis), that's more recent.

A reasonable guess

your Windows 10 hasn't been in use long time. and when you re-power it on. MSFT might run Windows 10 update. usually it takes time especially after long idle time.
