Hi, First let me say this problem has only started since upgrade to Window 11 24H2. Now whenever I download a video file to a folder , the folder only shows an icon NOT a thumbnail. If I drag the icon out of the folder to my desktop and then back into the folder followed by a "refresh" the thumbnail appears.
I have tried every solution to solve this I can find on the internet, including re-install "W11"all to no avail.
Some solutions seem to work only temporarily before reverting to "No thumbnail".
One such solution given is to "remove thumbnails files" in storage settings, but this only works for that session- then reverts to no thumbnail. I shouldn't have to do this every time I login.
Am I missing something or is this now normal. Any PERMANENT solution appreciated.
