Hi. Am running 21H2 Build 22000.318 on a mostly new Asus Zenbook Flip 15" screen with 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz CPU & 16g memory.
Oddest thing happens since the last update (can't recall which one, unfortunately, but has been in the last couple weeks), if I open a Word document by going through the program....File - Open, everything works as expected. If howeve, I use file explorer to open the exact same document, it opens & runs fine but, if you select File...Save, the dialog box shows up gigantic, font pitch is like 80pt huge. Another item is just the opposite. For all the Word users, across the ribbon each section has the settings icon in the lower right of the section box. if I open any of these, the resulting dialog box print is so tiny you can barely read it and....none of the text aligns where it is supposed to to correlate with any button or setting that is supposed to be there but you cannot see. I have not removed any of the system updates, yet, but I have removed & reinstalled video drivers as I believe the OS is not behaving well with the video drivers supplied by the supposedly Windows 11 compatible drivers. This is my only machine that has Windows 11 installed as it will not install onto my desktop machine which ran the Windows 11 Beta for several weeks with no problems so, I cannot tell if this is hardware specific issue or if this is a known thing the MS gurus have not fixed yet. Help?
