Just my experience playing with them but I find the free Lively Wallpaper app to work very well and it lets you use any short MP4 or MOV clips as animated walls. They have a windows store version or a separate download. I found the store version to use a little more resources over the separate download version. I tend to not use them long term however due to the additional recourses and they increase my CPU temp while running.Hello @fractalist
Well done!
Your creations look very nice indeed. Why not share them directly ?
Maybe you could upload them on WinCustomize.com or DeviantArt, if you haven't done it already.
I'll be happy to try them out.
Actually, I'm looking for HD low resource live wallpapers, with slow or light (even very light) smooth animations.
For example, "Spring" with "optional Ants" (additional PNGs) and the very light wind, is excellent (quick show on Stardocks's YouTube video).
Would you know which are the best free wallpaper apps available ?
(I'm using DeskScapes free trial at the moment)
