Every time I open chrome I get this popup, it's a nuisance, I did an antivirus scan but it doesn't find anything. How do I remove this annoyance? thanks in advance.

Assuming your using Norton and have a webcontent protection feature. The threat is malvertising. The threat type is a ad embedded in the site mentioned that exhibits malicious behavior. I don't recommend disabling this.

The threat is an ad being served on xerogala.com. The ads themselves could be from any number of ad content networks. Running an ad blocker in the browser should help block ads in general including the malicious one

Adblockers typically rely on block lists, so it may not catch it, or xerogala.com is infact the culprit. Most adblocker extensions have the ability to customize their block lists. You can simply add xerogala.com as a blocked domain
