I have mapped my NAS drive/folder to be A: on my Desktop and Laptop using File Explorer (FE).
When I open FE on my desktop it shows (A:) 0 Shared (\\DS716) in the left column directly under This PC.
In the right portion it shows A: under Network.
In Desktop iTunes it does not connect to A: (Where my songs are filed and listed in the iTunes Library files), but will if I force it use the Network A: address.
My laptop has a similar File Explorer layout--not exactly but very similar and it works.
I found and used a few posts about an update MS provided which changes some security things. I followed the following:
Mapped drives not working in Windows 11. But no help.
Can you help me?
Ron
