Howdy everyone, hope you're all well?

So I recently developed a new weird bug the other day, when I drag/drop a file the icon/text is huge, if anyone has the solution I'd love to hear it please!

Winver: 21H2 OS Build 22000.593

I am using Explorer Patcher which was the only app I thought that may be causing it:

This is what it looks like when I drag/drop:

Tried googling of course but can't find any solution :(

Oh and one other thing that happened at the same time, the IDM icon suddenly became huge too:

I'm not seeing this, tried with pictures, folders, shortcuts etc, tried with changing window view, mixing and matching, same Windows build.
I'm using a 32inch 1440p monitor as well, but on an Nvidia card. I don't have any customisation utilities/ apps in use though.

Thank you very much for the reply :) No problems found with SFC.

One probably related issue I did notice was that the launch icon for MS Office apps was tiny, and the icons to close/resize etc. inside an MS Office app are tiny too:

1649682339338.png

I haven't used any kind of custom scaling/DPI etc. And haven't changed anything related to text size, text is fine, it's certain icons that for some reason are now either huge or tiny!

Ok it's fixed, bit weird but despite scaling showing as "automatic 100%", I set custom scaling to 100%, restarted, and now the icons are fixed, though it now shows 225% for scaling!

Big thanks to both of you for replying :)

Some people using 1440p seem to prefer either 100 or 125 for scaling. Im running 4k and mine is at 150. Just for reference if that helps/

Aha thanks, I do feel like the desktop icons are a bit bigger than they need to be! :)

No prob! Oh and on my 1080p monitor im running at 100. So if i got a 1440p monitor today i'd probably try 125 and see but 100 might be fine
