what are the best affordable vpns


Nice i think proton plus plan suits me just fine. Iam the only one on this computer, so i dont need unlimited. It all comes down to cost. Dont want to pay higher cost but at same time get bang for the buck as the saying goes

You pays your money and takes your chances. I'm a Kaspersky user. So far their VPN has worked out wonderfully for me. I don't give a rat's behind about all the political reasons I should or should not be using Kaspersky. What matters to me is whether or not Kaspersky works. So far, for the last decade or so, this has been the case. If this makes me a target for Russian hackers so be it. I'm sure they couldn't do any worse than NSA or CSIS. Anyway, so far, so good. To each their own.

MalwareBytes VPN works fine for me and it's bundled with my AV. Totally seamless and I have had zero trouble with it.

It's available separately from the AV if you already use an AV that you like. I think the cost is around $40 CAD for just the VPN.

Are you sure your on a public Wi-Fi plan? I have Xfinity and it's not a public Wi-Fi. If your referring to other Xfinity customers being able to access your Xfinity router you don't have worry. Your Wi-Fi and the Xfinity Wi-Fi access are two separate things. The only way anyone can gain access is by using their credentials for Xfinity to log-in. Anything they do will come back to them and not you. The Xfinity Wi-Fi can be turned off. I don't remember if it can be done by accessing the router through a browser, the Xfinity app or both.

The only problem with Cloudfllare Warp that I have trouble is accessing my Comcast emails. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have Cloudflare set to use 1.1.1.1

Hmm, I have G Mail auto-forwarding its messages to my POP 3 account, which I access with Thunderbird. Sitting between TB and GM I have an app called "PopMan" that acts as a spam filter. This 'glom' seems to have no difficulty working with Warp. BTW, I also sometimes access my G Mail directly with my browser,using Warp. I am using Optimum as my ISP. Thought you might find this arrangement interesting.
