What are you watching?

Have the "what are you listening to?", don't know if there is any interest in this. If so here you go.

Just got my Covid-19 booster shot yesterday and today my youngest son, who is living with us at the moment, has come down with Covid. So all three of us are pretty much quarantined for a while, even within our household. We have all been vaccinated so fingers crossed.

Anyhow, with that cheery note, I am going to be stuck in for a while and watching stuff. Tonight I am watching the the playback of yesterday's Paris-Roubaix bike race. As the name indicates, it is between Paris and Roubaix, one long day and on mostly cobblestone. It is usually held in the spring when it is dry and dusty. This year it is raining, muddy and treacherous - cobblestones are slick when wet - first time in at least over a decade it hasn't been dry and dirty,

I'm sorry to read of your son, and the current situation.

I am certainly wishing you all, well.

My daughter came down with covid three weeks ago. Symptoms were a heavy cold and calves aching. Stayed mostly in her bedroom for 10 days. Non of the rest of the family caught it and went about business as usual. Thank heavens for the vaccinations.
As for what I'm watching it's usually Tech channels on You Tube. How boring is that.
At the moment, though, catching up with Harald Baldr and his US travels.

Well I have been watching a lot of tech channels too

That was some race - watched the whole thing late into the this morning, Riders at the end were caked with dry mud and looked like terracotta soldiers. First time in this race it has rained in 20 years. Lots of crashes on the slimy muddy cobblestones and the winner sat in the grass and loudly sobbed. It was a brutal 160 mi.

Wow, that is awesome live stream of a volcanic eruption !

LOL. Well, you didn't miss much I reckon Best to watch video of that part.

Watching the whole Harry Potter series. Forgot how well crafted they were and how long ago! Well worth a second pass.

Also Yellowstone and waiting for season six of The Expanse, which will hit Amazon December 10th.

Yeah I love seeing that horse run. Have watched that and about everything else fictional or non about the horse.

Secretariat was an animal! His heart was 21-22 lbs (average thoroughbred under 9 lbs).

Blu. His heart is big figuratively (my wife's horse, not a Thoroughbred, a Quarter Horse of course)
