Almost daily error: Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80073D02: 9NKSQGP7F2NH-5319275A.WhatsAppDesktop.

Uninstall Whatsapp
settings>apps>installed apps>find whatsapp in the list>3 dots beside it>uninstall
Restart computer. Go to store and install latest version of the app.

Done, Let's see..........................I have done this a couple times before in the past. It's not a big deal beside all the other errors I see in reliability history.

If you expect us to help you have to give us more info than that. We can't see your computer. What kind of "errors". Application errors, Windows errors, Misc errors. Are they errors or warnings? What do these errors relate to?

My sibs keep bugging me to join their Family Group, I told them, there's no way in hell and damnation I'm getting involved with social networking, but they won't leave me alone!
Any good or should I steer clear?

It's a communication platform used everywhere in the world except in the US, where they are locked into Apple iMessage

Hey @Edwin, Yeah it's kosher. What I've seen it used for is private messaging but I think you can call and video chat through it too.

I'm with you. No social media for me. If anyone wants to communicate with me they'd better call and their name better identify with their number or they won't get answered. I might respond to a text and I might not. If it's an emergency and they don't get me, they can send the sheriff. I hate phones.

OP - if you dont want to bother with installed app errors, just use the web based and "install the page as an app"

About 80 million Americans use Whatsapp (which was created in the US), the message and voice call functions are free and end-to-end encrypted.

I've never seen an ad on the platform and personally use it extensively.

It is not "social media".
