why does MS screw us with some updates, Edge Browser. Every time they update, the browser wants to send me to re-education camp with telling me the features. I don't care. Worse yet! they wipe my stored passwords for all the websites I have passwords for instant login! I put of saying anything for a long time, but they need to be told to *-off! and stop doing this to us. I know they love adding junk to their software but stop treating us like we never saw a browser before! stop making us go through the settings each time, stop wiping our info! I bet there are more out there that have had it too!

That is why I use Firefox and not EDGE. I don't want or need to be concerned about a Browser I do not use. Why, only a Higher Power can answer that..🤠👍

Because we only pay for license to use Windows, either through OEM or Retail, and Microsoft wants everyone to have the same experiences and to that end we get updates.

Thank you, I did download this before, but stopped short of using it. I have been around quite a while, through all the browser wars and the ones that came and went. Either I finally blew up, or they just don't get the message. Or both.

"They" may not respond but I do forward my thoughts/opinions via the Feedback Hub on Start, at least get them added to the list. Things were simpler with my first computer in '92 and Dial-Up connecting to Bulletin Boards to download and try Shareware.

Are we talking Cookies or stored passwords?

I stopped using Edge PM after it removed all my synced passwords in all devices.
But it also happens when switching channels stable, beta. It wipes the profile clean.

I mostly use Chrome, but I use them all at times. I like Firefox when I’m watching a lot of YouTube videos, because it doesn’t have any delays, I click on a video, and it goes right into the video and starts playing.

According to Brink's tuto, the value "HideFirstRunExperience" must be created in "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Edge". Unless these two paths have same effect ?
