Why is Edge syncing Cookies from Chrome?

This might have already been addressed here, I did not look through all 32 pages. I use Chrome, maybe it's Chrome syncing cookies to Edge. The only way I can figure out how to stop this is, turn off syncing in Edge, unless you have a better solution.
