there are money grabbers out there who, when an idea begins to form, they quickly grab domain names at cheapo prices, then sell for loads of money. When searching domain names in providers, I often see 'musthave.coms' for £2-3,000. When it actually cost approx £5-10. But to be fair, some, not many, actually legitimately belong to others first and are used. The best thing that happened here was the intro of .uk domains which I use, puts .com opportunists out of pocket. The domain name elevenforums is actually not even in use. Anyway, we are only one forum, so why have a plural :eyeroll: I used to have a name site .com but after the 2 year registration, the price soared. So I binned it. It is after all my hobby.

Is MS going to actually release a Win 12?
There was a wild rumour, so the forum was set up just in case. Now that MS are changing to a three year development cycle it's looking more possible....

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

It could have been a rumor, but when I first asked, it was a quote from a MS employee that made me ask

If a rumor, my fault :p
