Solved why was my account registration rejected?

I work in IT at a company, as many of us do, and I tried to sign up today using that email address, and the account was rejected.
There is no recourse! There is no link for rebuttal.

"The account you registered did not meet membership requirements.
Your account is no longer accessible."

What could be wrong?

It was rejected because multiple accounts are not allowed.

Two different email addresses on two different domain names, two different machines, two different usernames.
How would it know I was the same person?

Does a human reject the registration, or is it done by a machine?
Why is there no clue as to why it was rejected?

None of it makes sense to me. Please help me understand.

Sorry, we are not going into how you were detected, but you did try to sign up for a second account, which is not allowed.
