Could you explain what your post is about in a little more detail? I think your trying to say that Chrome won't open a web page unless it's a secure web page. Is that correct?

I don't use Chrome but I would think that you could still access the page after getting the warning. I know I can with Firefox.

It's possible Chrome is by default blocking non-secure pages these days.

In Settings --> Privacy and security --> Advanced, there is a toggle to "always use secure connections. OP may have turned that on - or Chrome may be shipping with that enabled by default now. But just a couple of years ago, you had to change chrome:flag in order to have that option even show in settings.

Chrome doesn't have an option to click on so you can bypass the warning?

It does, but it is annoying as it takes a couple of seconds to present that bypass button (and I'm on a gigabit fiber connection, no less). Enabling the setting will auto-try to load the https version of a site first, which both netvibes and myfeedly have available, so it is more ... automatic, I suppose is the word I'm looking for.

Chrome has made a lot of changes recently to some of its default settings. I would definitely look at that as a prime suspect.
