We have a Win-10 Pro PC I last rebuilt some 4-5 years ago. I've been asked to upgrade the CPU and Motherboard so the workstation can accept the Win-11 upgrade. I use to build PCs for folks but stopped about 5 years back, so I'm a little rusty, but ready to give it one more go. I'm partial to AMD CPUs and ASUS motherboards as they have always provided reliable builds for me. The CPU I'm looking at seems to be a go but I am finding conflicting internet information on the motherboard. I havn't found any ASUS documentation showing the UEFI settings so to determine if this specific board suports UEFI Secure Boot and TPM 2.0.
The pc case requires using a microATX. so I am eyeballing the following:
- ASUS B550M-A Prime
- AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
I'd apprecaite feedback if this combination is known meet the Win-11 requreemnts.
Thanks in advance, DEL
