Solved Win 11 Home S mode why isn't this working

Win11 Home Edition (removed S-mode)
trying to change a pin required to log into Win 11 S mode I saw many ways this appeared to be the simplest but commands that appears is different from video
what appears is
lock
switch user
sign out
task manager
What is missing is CHANGE PASSWORD

This helps to explain S Mode but it may be difficult to make the change. I've seen posts that were more about getting the computer out of S Mode.

@OP I think you are hitting a limitation of the S mode. Either you accept the limitation or you get out of the S mode.

trying not to get out of S mode
I have to ask WHY?
For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would want to limit themselves by using it.

Just to note, PIN and Password are two separate sign-in options.

Normally, you should be able to use an option in the tutorial below to change your account's PIN, even in S Mode.


If something looks different than what's in the tutorial above, then please post a screenshot showing it to see what the issue may be. Be sure to blank out any personal info (ex: email address) in the screenshot before posting it.
