win 11 thinks OS running on usb how to fix this

win 11 24h2 thinks it is running on usb it is not, how to fix this system is running fine just will not update, error message re usb i might have used wintogo on previous motherboard when it was not booting i just want to know how to remove win to go i cannot see it in registry repair windows update by reinstal OS fails that it cannot run on usb

if i find the registry entry for portableoperating system and delete it would i need to clean install win 11?
and if so could i restore apps from image backup?

Only suggestion I have is to look in the BIOS for the drive settings, I have a Gigabyte motherboard whose BIOS can be set to show an internal drive as being removable, have a 500GB internal and 2TB hotswap.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control the value PortableOperatingSystem change it to 0 presuambly it is 1 now
