I have been using the Win 11 media player to rip CDs for my son. Somehow iTunes is the default now. After this happened, I went to a .cda file in File Explorer and right clicked on Media Player to be the default. Then it displayed it as the default as I wanted. The next time I input a CD, iTunes, again, appeared. I have to close iTunes each time then right click on one of the cda files on the CD in Win Explorer to get it to work right.
I am running the latest version of Win 11 on an HP laptop with an external CD player/reader. Is there a work around for this or do I need to delete iTunes from my computer? I rarely use it anymore since Apple pretty much crippled its features.
