Been having constant BSOD, "Critical Process Died". After quick debug, went full nuclear, and am down to just a fresh install with graphics card drives.
The computer began BSODing about a week ago. At the time I was on a Preview release branch of Windows 11. I began debugging with that version, but have since switched back to the standard release. The one major difference between when I started, which I have not reverted, is I have updated my ASUS bio to the latest version released in November, which turns on TPM by default for Win11.
Computer at Beginning:
intel i9-7920x 2066 (Out-Of-Warranty previous replaced 18 months ago)
8x 32g Ram TridentZ 3200mhz
EVGA Nvidia 2080 Hydro (Warranty)
ASUS Nvidia 1080 TI
Samsung 1TB 980 Pro
Asus Prime Deluxe X299 (Out-Of-Warranty previous replaced 18 months ago)
3x - Dell P2721Q - 27" 4k
Computer Now, after new CPU, new HD and extra Ram and Graphics removed.
intel i9-10980XE (Warranty)
1x 32g Ram TridentZ 3200mhz
EVGA Nvidia 2080 Hydro (Warranty)
Samsung 2TB 980 Pro (Warranty)
I have also swapped all pieces back and forth (I lack an extra motherboard, this thread is my last try before ordering a new one).
Typically I will blue screen as soon as opening a game and beginning to play. But I am also able to reproduced the bluescreen by running PC UserBenchmark.
When I first installed the new CPU, I was able to get a few successful runs, for example here.
But now, I am unable to complete a run, even after a fresh install of Windows and a full strip down of my hardware. I have also turned off any type of overclocking, particularly XMP, (which has never been on with new CPU) Games still also crash the computer, but been using the Benchmark tool for fast testing on new OS install.
