Solved Winaero Tweaker question

Hello, since this app is pretty popular around here, I thought I'd ask this question.

I'm trying to add foobar to my right mouse click menu and I'm wondering if it's possible using Winaero Tweaker to do it. In other words, a third-party program that's not prelisted in their Context Menu section. Is it only locked into what's already available in there, or can other apps be added using Winaero?

Does anybody know if it's possible to do that?

Always check the link at the top in the right pane.
They give a more in depth description.

Otherwise, I don't see any "Add App" tool in Winaero.

In Foobar2000 under File > Preferences > Shell Integration, you can check mark the box that says: "Folder context menus" then click Apply and OK.

Then when I right click my Music folder, I see this...

Yeah that's just it. It doesn't work.

Some music folders it will appear but most don't.

You might want to play around with ShellExView and ShellMenuView...

WHY are you trying to add Foobar2000 to your context menu?

There may be another way to accomplish what you're trying to get done.

Because it's easier to right-mouse click open a music folder with foobar instead of dragging and dropping files into foobar all the time.

I thought since Winaero was pretty encompassing that it might be a solution.

Ah HA!

I have an alternate solution.
With Foobar2000, playlists are easy as pie. Unlike something like WMP.

So you can just make a few playlists for different moods or occasions or whatever.
Then you just open Foobar2000 and load whatever playlist you want at that time.

And... Foobar2000 remembers where the playlists are.

At 68 years old, I don't have much of a life, so I only have one playlist.

And I just saved the playlist in the Music folder.
When you open Foobar, just go to File > Load Playlist, and it will take you right to where your playlists are, and ONLY show you the playlists.

To make the playlists... just open Foobar and choose: File > New Playlist, and drag and drop whatever songs you selected into the main Foobar window... then give it a name.

Thanks for the info, @Ghot but playlists would be unwieldy since my openings of foobar are far too dynamic and would change all the time.

I just need to open an new album folder so I can load the list temporarily so I can use the DR meter in order to create what's known as a foo_dr file for later record keeping. I do not use foobar as a player.

I just use Foobar to play music.

I use it to create foo_dr files that help test the loudness of music files.

I also use to convert music files to bigger files or smaller files or even different music formats. Right-mouse click makes it fast and accessible for me.

As you can see, on some music folders, the selection appears, as in the first picture

On others, you can see it disappear.

I especially need the "Enqueue in foobar2000" option you see in the first picture (right above Mp3tag) to appear all the time.

Both are music flacs or mp3s inside their respective folders.

Also make sure the shell integration options for foobar200 that @Ghot mentioned in post three are ticked. This is how I have it.

I definitely need the "Enqueue" option ticked. It wasn't ticked before.

I like Easy Context Menu and will do some further adjustments using it, later. I would hope Winareo Tweaker would implement everything Easy Context Menu does. Have it all in one place.
