Hi Guys,
Can someone give me some advice please?
I have installed windows 11 22H2
and done all the updates.
My problem is the right mouse button is not functioning 100%
The copy and move do not appear on screen when trying to
move or copy files.
Also all my context menus are underscored.
please see attached file.
I would like to fix this too,
I have tried repairing windows with the usual tools.
re installed mouse driver.
Run:
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Windows says no problems.
I am thinking I might need a registry change to fix these problems ?
Any advice is welcome?
Thank You :-)

No.
I get nothing.
And my screenshot supplied with previous thread has grid marks
round the context menu items, which does not happen on the other PC.
I have set the same windows ISO up on another PC
without any problems.
curious why that is ?
Only Big difference between the 2 PC is the one with the problem has a 4K monitor attached?

AH huh, so I'm not the only one with the right click show more options menu problems with 22H2. My little Surface laptop has the ugly white show more options menus also and some like the right click for bluetooth and safely remove hardware don't function. Keep hoping for a fix with each update but no luck so far at 22621.755. If I roll back to 21H2 all works fine.Screenshot (2).png

I thought I was the only one.
If it helps anyone, here are some more of my settings
Windows 11 version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.675)
I have installed the latest Geforce driver for
my graphic card without any success.
Sometimes I do see part of a menu on right click.
See screenshot attached. but more often than not I see nothing!
Most of these problems seem to be when working in explorer.
I tried xyplorer but get the same results.
So far most of my applications drop down menu have grid boxes round them too!
on right mouse click.... Hope I haven't Jinks it,saying that.
Anyone else got this problem ?
Chhers

You just changed the theme and it cleared up? Does it display properly now for all themes?

Sorry to jump in on an old thread but exactly what did you change in the theme
Just go into the themes option under personalization and select a different theme like one of the defaults. When the new theme takes effect that should clear up the menu display problem then you can change back to using whatever custom theme you set up.

Thank you - that worked. I have no idea why. Must be some more MSoft wizardry.

Glad your back to normal display, that one had me stumped and frustrated for a while trying all kinds of stuff lol. Then the thread starter discovered that simple fix and I was like duh!
